Hi! I’m Ms. Mae and I love to travel. I have made several trips to Europe over the past fifteen years and am planning many more. I’ve discovered and explored a world that is much larger than the small Midwestern town where I grew up.
I am an avid amateur photographer and have taken most of the pictures on this site. I can think of nothing more rewarding than sharing my travels with you through these photos, mixed with writing and friendship. Embrace this friendship by joining me on a tour or just by perusing the site.
I am also a knitter; I usually bring a project or two along on my trips. I look for yarn shops in every new city and often revisit those in familiar places.
Ms. Mae Travels was built to share knowledge and memories. The site contains a collection of what I have learned through my travels. It includes information about my favorite European destinations. It shares resources to help you plan your own trip to Europe.
As a former college professor, I value education and believe that travel is one of the best ways to learn about our world. Stepping out of our comfort zones, will build confidence and understanding. It can bring us closer to people around the world both physically and intellectually.
Although the information is still a bit sparse, I am adding to it weekly, sometimes even daily, so please check back often. I hope that Ms. Mae Travels will soon become your go-to site for all your European travel.
